This blog is a tool for communicating with the clinicians at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. It documents clinical questions arising from Emory resident reports at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
The mission is to support the educational activities of the resident report by directing residents to evidence and background information in response to clinical questions raised during report.
The blog is produced and maintained by Emily Lawson, MSLIS, AHIP.
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
As a not-for-profit organization, our mission is to make kids better today and healthier tomorrow. Managing more than half a million patient visits annually at three hospitals and 17 neighborhood locations, we are one of the largest clinical care providers for children in the country. Our hospital system offers access to more than 30 pediatric specialties and is ranked among the top children’s hospitals by U.S.News & World Report. With generous philanthropic and volunteer support, we have made an impact in the lives of children in Georgia, the United States and throughout the world.
Emory University Pediatrics Residency Program
The mission of our training program is to provide the best education possible to our residents so that they may become future leaders within the field of pediatrics. By exposing residents to a diverse population of patients, an accomplished cadre of supervising faculty, and a thoughtful, comprehensive curriculum, we continue to be proud of the excellence that characterizes our graduating physicians.
